Bred to hunt fox and badger, Wales. Traced after a kennel photograph in Dogs of All Nations, 1915.
The two marks
Fleece with a cotton face, 322 g/m², dyed after sewing. Ribbed collar, cuffs and hem. The silhouette is embroidered small in the centre of the chest, in brass thread on Grey, Light Sage, Spruce and Navy, white on Pepper. The breed’s card is printed big on the back: its name in English and Arabic, what it was bred for and where its picture comes from, in lead ink on Grey, bone on Light Sage, Spruce, Pepper and Navy.
