Questions

Embroidered or printed?

Both. On a tee, a hoodie or a crewneck the breed is embroidered small in the centre of the chest and its card is printed big on the back. On a cap or a tote the breed is embroidered on the front.

Where do the pictures come from?

From books and pictures in the public domain: The New Book of the Dog (1907), Dogs of All Nations (1915), The Dog Book (1905), a drawing by Edwin Landseer and a study by Betty Fuerst. Every card says which one its breed comes from.

Why is the saluki first?

It is a sighthound of Arabia, bred to course gazelle, and the breed this brand started with. Its card is after a drawing by Edwin Landseer, 1813.

What are the groups?

Seven, by what each breed was bred for: sporting dogs, hounds, working dogs, terriers, toy dogs, non-sporting dogs and herding dogs.

Is anything made up?

No. Each dog is traced from a real picture, and its card names the book, the artist or the photograph it comes from.

My breed is not here.

We add a breed when we find a clean public-domain picture of a real dog. Write to hello@miniblank.com with the one you want.

Which colours?

Six tees, six hoodies, five crewnecks, five caps and two totes, in quiet field colours. The thread is brass, or white on the darkest pieces; the card is lead ink on light pieces and bone on dark ones. Each piece lists its colours.

How do I choose my size?

The tee, the hoodie and the crewneck each have a table in centimetres in the size guide. The tee and the crewneck are relaxed: take your usual size. The hoodie has dropped shoulders: check the table first. The cap and the tote are one size.

Why do some sizes cost more?

The biggest sizes take more cotton. The exact price shows when you pick a size. Shipping stays free.

How long does delivery take?

Your piece is made after you order, then shipped to you. Orders arrive between 13 and 20 Nov, with free tracked shipping.

Where do you ship?

To 75 countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Singapore, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The full list is at checkout. Shipping is free on every order.

Any customs charges?

The carrier may collect import tax or duties on delivery, under your country’s rules. Those go to your government or the carrier, not to us.

Where is it made?

By a production partner at one of its workshops around the world, then sent straight to you.

How do I look after it?

Wash cold, inside out, hang to dry, and never iron the embroidery or the print. Spot clean the cap.

Can I change or cancel?

Yes, within 2 hours of ordering, before work starts. Write to hello@miniblank.com.

Can I send it back?

Not for size or a change of mind: it was made for you. Damaged, mis-stitched, misprinted or wrong: we replace it or refund you. Write within 14 days of delivery with a photo. Details in the replacements policy.
